Open Air Interface Feature Set

Currently, the OAI platform includes a full software implementation of the 3GPP 4G-LTE and 5G-NR protocol stack for:

• the RAN (OpenAirInterface5G) for 4G and 5G
• the EPC (OpenAirCN) for 4G.
• the 5G-CORE (or CN-5G) for 5G.

For the RAN:

• master branch: the current status of the implemented / tested features is here.
  The Release Notes are available there. All versions are LTE-ONLY.

• develop branch: the current status of the implemented / tested 4G and 5G features is here.
  The develop branch is updated on a weekly basis.
