    • RRC Measurement reporting
    • Full DL throughput (at least in 5 MHz, 14 Mbit/s TM1/2)
    • OAI eNB <-> OAI UE
  • Bad Bugs/Issues
    • Radio link failure / Reestablishment
    • UE detach/ attach -> ok
    • UE removal (ok at L2+, but not always at L1)

    • DLSCH transmissions exhausted bug
    • Handle Paging in eNB (ok, eNB ignores this message)
    • 20 MHz bugs on ExpressMIMO2
    • Current TCP traffic issue
    • MIMO on USRP (ok for 10MHz)

Release 0.2

This release was planned for the end of 2014, but we did not have sufficient time to test everything. The closest you can get to the release is by taking the tag 20141215_solder_revision.

Improvements over Rel 0.1:

  • a stable version of OAI eNB + OAI EPC
  • OAI EPC build tool support
  • support of Linux kernel > 3.14 as well as the SCHED_DEADLINE scheduler
  • Improvements in the UL power control and timing advance
  • Support for Rel10 RRC messages

Release 0.1 (26.10.2014)

  • In addition to the previous release this release also supports the USRP B210 hardware target.
  • Moreover, band 38 (TDD) and band 13 (FDD) both in 5MHz configuration were tested succesfully
  • Further updates include some bugfixes on the uplink retransmission protocol as well as an extended configuration file allowing to configure all cell-specific parameters.

Note: this release does not work with linux kernel higher that 3.14.xx.

Release 0 (28.8.2014)

  • In this release we have tested the OpenAirInterface eNB on ExpressMIMO2 together with a third party EPC and a commercial Huwaei dongle. The tested configuration was band 7 (FDD) 5MHz.

Note: this release does not work with linux kernel higher that 3.14.xx.
